I'm not a doctor. I'm proof.
I'm Jay — Redcliffe, Queensland, father of five. I've climbed out of holes most people don't come back from. Meth was the one that kept me in active addiction — but it was never just meth. At my worst I was in the grip of the lot: a massive daily oxycodone habit that nearly shut my body down when I tried to stop, alcohol, pot, MDMA, cocaine. I came all the way back from all of it. Two years sober off the booze, and right now I'm quitting the vapes too — documenting every raw day of it on TikTok.
So whatever's got its hooks in you — the ice, the pills, the party drugs everyone pretends are harmless, the drink — I've very likely been where you are. You don't have to have hit my rock bottom for this to be for you.
I also learned the hard way that coming off some of this stuff can be genuinely dangerous — I nearly died not understanding my own withdrawal. That's exactly why everything I offer is peer coaching and support built on lived experience, never a replacement for your doctor. When something needs medical care, I'll tell you straight, and we build your recovery around it.
